Old and New – a Powerful Combination
As we enter the New Year, we look forward to all things new, like resolutions and fresh starts. It’s exciting to imagine a bright future. In the water and wastewater world, that bright future includes fresh, sparkling drinking and recreational water, new, improved systems for managing waste and communities that thrive because they efficiently provide all this to their citizens.
Our region managers, techs and staff live in these communities, so the vision for a bright future is passionately ours. It’s time for many things new, as water and wastewater plants age. Pipes and pumps aren’t meant to last forever and many out there have long been worn out. That can get dangerous. The opportunity goes beyond replacing them. The opportunity is to enhance the workings of the entire system with new materials, new designs, new structures and software that make operations more efficient and effective. All new solutions require investment. This is where the “old” comes in.
Investments in the New Work Because of the Old
PeopleService turns 30 years old this year. That translates into a lot of years of dedicated experience in the water and wastewater world. In fact, 22 of our clients have been with us for 25 or more years. (We’re very proud of that fact.) Our region managers have a combined hundred years plus experience in this business. Some teach about it in community colleges. All teach about it when they mentor new water technicians and city administrators. This depth of experience by a tenured company in the business is invaluable to the investment your community may have to make this year. In fact, it’s a good starting place to work with us on determining where your plant and systems are and what needs to be done to take them, and your community, into the future. This is what we’ve been doing for years and intend to do for 30+ more. Check out our service solutions on our site. Then contact us to talk about where you want your community to be in the future and how your water and wastewater systems are integral to that investment. We just may have the solution that takes advantage of the old to bring in the new.
