The Clear Take on Water and Wastewater Today

Get to know Chris McMillen – our new Director of Sales.

Chris McMillen Chris is the newest member of the PeopleService team. Our new Director of Sales comes to us with a wealth of strong, strategic sales and management experience, most recently in Tampa, Florida, where his family will reside until son, Cade graduates from high school. A Navy veteran, Chris and his family spent a significant amount of time in Colorado. Wife Kim comes from Scottsbluff and Alliance, Nebraska, so being back in the Midwest makes sense, but Chris, the Buffaloes fan, is resisting cheering for the Huskers. “All it took was one meeting with Alan and Chad Meyer to know this is the place I wanted to land. They were decisive and displayed strong leadership in a warm, inviting, family atmosphere,” said Chris. “Their integrity and passion attracted me to PeopleService where I know I can make a positive impact.”

When asked how his first month on the job is going, Chris reinforced that it’s the people that differentiate PeopleService from the competition. “There is a wealth of knowledge here, and everyone collaborates and shares thoughts and ideas. Plus, they rib each other – just like family,” he added. “Communities across the country are losing qualified water/wastewater operators. There isn’t a talent pool to replace them, which makes PeopleService an instrumental solution to this problem. I’m looking forward to sitting down with city administrators and leaders to discuss PeopleService solutions.”

When you meet with Chris, ask him about his days in comedy improv. When he isn’t cracking a joke or talking water/wastewater solutions, you can find him fishing, golfing, at the BBQ grill and working on his home brew. In addition to wife Kim and son Cade, Chris has a daughter, Jordin, a sophomore studying Psychology at Florida State.
