The Clear Take on Water and Wastewater Today

Spotlight on

Paul Christensen, Northern Minnesota Region Manager

Paul ChristensenPaul Christensen’s been with PeopleService since before his daughters were born. Now they’re out on their own and he and his wife have joined a wine club – the perks of being empty nesters. What PeopleService gains from this tenure is a wealth of experience with us, our customers and in the industry. Paul is the “go-to” guy who currently serves as the President-Elect of the Minnesota Wastewater Operators Association (MWOA). He also serves on the St. Cloud Technical & Community College’s Water Environment Technologies (WETT) Advisory Board helping to improve and build upon this important program. Further helping to identify and introduce young people to the industry, Paul consults and teaches for the Water Utilities Treatment Technology (WUTT) program at St. Paul Community and Technical College in St. Paul, Minnesota. “It’s exciting to bring new people to this industry,” said Paul. “In addition to introducing college students to the field, I’m mentoring a new employee who came to us from a career in telecom. Because we’ve been hands-on in this field for so long, we are very well positioned to meet the labor challenge with what we know, who we know and where we have influence. I’m happy to talk with anyone interested in learning more about water and wastewater management and operations – and wine, of course.”
